Lorna Humphreys – Mini Biography
I own and run Nose 2 Tail Grooming. I began training in 1997 with the highly respected training salon Look North, in Keighley. In 2010 I completed the nationally accredited City and Guilds Advanced Dog Grooming qualification, with distinction and credit. I am one of few groomers in this area to hold this level. The City and Guilds exams are the only industry recognised qualifications.
I have recently started competing at grooming competitions. My acheivements to date are second place gundog class at Premier Groom 2010, first place gundog group and runner up best in show experienced group at the British Dog Grooming Championships 2010.
I have prepared dogs for Crufts and haved judged at local dog shows. It’s not all dogs either! I also breed and show Chinchilla Persian Cats to Championship level (See Wishlist Persian page via my blog)
My ambition is for my salon to be known for a consistently high standard of work. I would like Nose 2 Tail to be known for its quality service, and attention to detail. I spend time on my clients.
